Abstract: In the frame of this paper are published the first czech translations of two letters, which were changed between B. Spinoza and G. W. Leibniz in autumn 1675. The content of letters which were constituent components of the comprehensive, but not preserved correspondence, are some questions from the sphere of laws of optics. Both philosophers paid big attention to these problems.
