Implication of Constructing Regional Advantage Approach on the Case of South Moravian Regional Innovation Strategy

Abstract:
The aim of this article is to asses potential and real possibility to apply contemporary theoretical concepts (constructing regional advantage) for fostering regional innovation systems in the Czech environment, in particular on the case of South Moravian Region. First, basic characteristics of South Moravian Region are presented in the context of research, development and innovation, then single phases of innovation policies are analysed. In addition, some recommendations to adjust innovation policy in the light of CRA are off ered.
