Abstract:
The article focuses on topic of immigration from the states of the Visegrad 4 Group to the Czech Republic within the period 2001-2007. In general we presume that the EU access and had a positive impact on immigration due to the abolition of the administrative barriers. The aim of the article is to state if the EU access (Eastern Enlargement) had an impact on immigration flows to the Czech Republic. In the other part is discussed the structure of the economic immigration.
