Abstract: [fre] En 1705, John Law adresse « Money and Trade » au Parlement écossais. Selon lui, seule une transformation structurelle du système monétaire peut sortir l'Ecosse de la crise. Il commence par demander la démonétisation des espèces métalliques. Il propose ensuite que l'émission de la monnaie — de papier — prenne la forme d'un prêt sur hypothèque. D'emblée, la terre-capital fonctionne comme instrument d'une sélection. Law souhaite par ailleurs que la diffusion de la monnaie par les propriétaires fonciers prenne la forme d'avances en salaires. Le rapport salarial est ainsi reconnu nécessaire. La monnaie connaît un parcours circulaire avec annulation dès son retour à l'émetteur. La crise consiste donc en une interruption du circuit de la monnaie. Elle est résolue par le « financement ». [eng] In 1705, John Law sends « Money and Trade » to the Scottish Parliament. According to him, only a transformation of the monetary system can resolve the Scottish crisis. He starts to ask for metallic coins demonetization. Then, he suggests the issue of paper money take shape of loan of mortgage. So, the capital-land is an instrument of selection. Besides, the landowners diffuse money in the form of wages. In that way, the salariat is necessary. The money takes a circular course and disappears when it comes back to the issuing. Crisis consists in a interruption of the monetary circuit. « Financement » resolves it.
