Le libéralisme, cet inconnu: à propos de Jean-Pierre Dupuy, Le sacrifice et l'envie

Abstract: [fre] Au sein de la tradition libérale, J.-P.Dupuy oppose l'Economie Politique (à savoir Adam Smith et Friednch Hayek) et la Science Economique. Seule celle- là serait susceptible (sans y parvenir vraiment) de concevoir l'ordre social comme un système autonome émergeant et s'auto-extériorisant de manière endogène à distance des individus mais à partir de leur interaction, individus et société se codéterminant circulairement. La Science Economique, en revanche, ne peut aborder correctement les questions du sacrifice, de Y envie et de Y équité du fait de son postulat strictement individualiste. J.-P. Dupuy conclut à l'instabilité radicale de l'ordre humain, ordre voué à 1' « indécidable décidé », ordre qui contient (au double sens du terme) son désordre. [eng] Within liberalist tradition, J.-P. Dupuy is opposing Political Economy (namely Adam Smith and Friedrich Hayek) and Economic Science. The fonner alone is liable (without real success) to conceive social order as an autonomous system emerging and self-producing in an endogeneous way apart from individuals but depending on their interaction, while individuals and society bringing about each other in a circular way. Economic Science, on the other hand, cannot accurately analyse the problems of Sacrifice, Envy, and Equity on account of its strictly individualist postulate. J.-P. Dupuy infers to radical unsteadiness of human order, fated to the « decided undecidable » and which contains (on the double meaning of the word) disorder.
