The first part deals with the recent deregulation in the United States as it can be analysed from an economic standpoint. The second part raises the question of how far Europe would benefit from similar reorganization. Dieser Artikel beabsichtigt, eine kurze Analyse der augenblicklich in den Vereinigten Staaten und in Europa durchgeführten Umorganisierung des Luftverkehrs vorzunehmen. Der erste Teil gibt einen zusammenfassenden Uberblick über die Umorganisierung des Luftverkehrs in den Vereinigten Staaten. Im zweiten Teil werden die Konsequenzen solcher Umstellungen für Europa geprüft.
