Por último se analiza y discute la contribución de estos principios a la evolución del déficit estadounidense desde printipios de los años 80. Der 1986 begonnene allmähliche Abbau ist jedoch Anfang der 90er Jahre wieder ins Stocken geraten. Zur Erklärung der Handelsbilanzbewegungen werden gewöhnlich zwei Hauptdeterminanten angeführt: der konjunkturelle "Lag" und die Preiswettbewerbsfähigkeit. In diesem Artikel werden nun die Auswirkungen dieser beiden Determinanten auf die Entwicklung des amerikanischen Defizits seit Anfang der 80er Jahre analysiert und diskutiert. Pour expliquer les mouvements des balances commerciales, deux principaux déterminants sont traditionnellement mis en avant : le décalage de conjoncture et la compétitivité prix. Les contributions de ces déterminants à l'évolution du déficit américain depuis le début des années 1980 sont analysées et discutées. Its gradual decrease, which started in 1986, is now tailing off in the early 1990s. Two main deciding factors are traditionally put forward to explain movements in balances of trade: the business lag and price competitiveness. The contributions of these determining factors to the development of the American deficit since the beginning of the 1980s are analyzed and discussed.
