Abstract: [spa] Orientación escolar : unos cuantos problemas - Economie et statistique vuelve a examinar aqui unos cuantos elementos de un informe relativo a los problemas planteados por la información y la orientación escolar y profesional de la juventud. Dicha orientación es demasiado precoz (son los ninos que plantean el mayor número de problemas los que deben de elegir más temprano), la escala de selección de las familias se verifica limitada, es una « selección por fracaso » y algunas orientaciones encarrilan a un estancamiento : tales son las mayores criticas formuladas por los 800 padres, alumnos, profesores y cuadros de la Agence nationale pour l'emploi (Agencia nacional pro empleo) cuestionados hace un año en la region Ródano-Alpes. [fre] Economie et statistique reprend ici quelques éléments d'un rapport sur les problèmes que posent l'information et l'orientation scolaires et professionnelles des jeunes. Cette orientation est trop précoce (et ce sont les enfants qui ont le plus de problèmes qui doivent choisir le plus tôt), la marge de choix des familles est étroite, c'est une « sélection par l'échec » et certaines orientations mènent à des impasses : telles sont les principales critiques formulées par les 800 parents, élèves, professeurs et cadres de l'Agence nationale pour l'emploi interrogés il y a un an dans la région Rhône - Alpes. [eng] Some Problems of Scholastic and Vocational Guidance - In this article Economie et statistique focuses on several aspects of a report on the problems posed by the scholastic and vocational guidance of young people. Such guidance takes place at too early an age (for the children who have the greatest problems are those who must choose earliest), the margin of choice of families is quite limited and is « a selection through failure », while certain options lead nowhere — these are the main criticisms made by some 800 parents, students, teachers, and administrators of the Agence Nationale pour l'Emploi who were surveyed a year ago in the Rhône - Alpes region.
