Abstract: [eng] Nationalizations : the State-Owned Sector Exposed to Competition - The nationalizations of 1981-1982 have increased the state-owned sector's already large share in industrial investment. They have also modified, at times considerably, this sector's other characteristics. Thus, the state-owned sector has implanted itself in certain often dynamic sectors in which it was formerly absent. Here, it is competing with private firms, which was an exceptional phenomenon in the past. Also, the state-owned sector's role in exports was relatively minor, but it has been significantly enhanced by the new nationalizations. [fre] Les nationalisations de 1981-1982 ont accru la part déjà importante du secteur public dans l'investissement industriel. Elles ont modifié, parfois sensiblement, ses autres caractéristiques. Ainsi, le secteur public s'est implanté dans des branches, souvent dynamiques, où il était absent; il y entre en concurrence avec des entreprises privées, phénomène exceptionnel auparavant. Son rôle dans les exportations était assez réduit : les nouvelles nationalisations l'ont très nettement renforcé. [spa] Nacionalizaciones : el sector pûblico expuesto a competencia - Las nacionalizaciones de 1981-1982 incrementaron la porción del sector público en la inversion industrial. Modificaron, a veces de manera sensible, sus demás características. Así pues, el sector público se estableció en ramas a menudo dinámicas, pero del que estaba ausente; hizo su entrada en él, en competencia con empresas privadas, lo cual, en otros tiempos constituía un fenómeno exceptional. Su papel dentro de las exportaciones era de escasa importancia : las recientes nacionalizaciones lo reforzaron patentemente.
