Abstract: [fre] Les difficultés de l'industrie n'épargnent pas les entreprises publiques - Le secteur public est désormais largement implanté dans l'industrie concurrentielle. Les enquêtes de conjonctures indiquent qu'il subit les difficultés communes à l'ensemble de l'industrie : une situation de trésorerie tendue, des résultats d'exploitation insuffisants, une concurrence étrangère sévère aussi bien sur les marchés extérieurs que sur le marché intérieur. Aussi, en 1982, l'investissement a-t-il diminué en volume, comme dans le secteur privé; et la tendance à la baisse des effectifs, interrompue au premier semestre, a repris au second. [eng] The Evolution of the Competitive Public Sector - The public sector in France has now become broadly implanted in the area of competitive industry. Current economic surveys show that it is having little success in overcoming the difficulties which affect industry as a whole — a tight cash-flow situation, insufficient profits from sales, and severe foreign competition both on foreign markets as well as, more recently, on the domestic market. Thus, in 1982, the volume of investment dropped, as within the private sector; the decrease in manpower, which had been reversed in the first half of the year, began again in the second half. [spa] La evolución del sector público competitivo - El sector público esta de hoy en adelante extensamente implantado en el campo de la industria competitiva. Las encuestas coyunturales indican que casi no consigue liberarse de las dificultades que afectan a la industria en su conjunto : situación critica en Hacienda, resultados de explotación insuficientes, competencia extranjera aguda, tanto en mercados exteriores como, en fecha más reciente, en el mercado interior. Así pues, en 1982, la inversion descendió en volumen, así como en el sector privado; las bajas intervenidas entre fuerza laboral, interrumpidas durante el primer semestre, reanudaron en el segundo semestre.
