Abstract: [fre] Le modèle PROPAGE a permis d'étudier les conséquences d'un investissement supplémentaire en capital selon la branche où il était effectué. Grâce aux résultats présentés dans ce même numéro, ce mode d'analyse peut être étendu au cas d'un investissement en recherche et développement. La branche « matériel électrique et électronique professionnel » a été choisie. C'est en effet une de celles où la technologie évolue le plus vite. Investir en matière grise permet à terme d'accroître la productivité. Plusieurs simulations sont présentées selon que cette recherche crée ou non de nouveaux débouchés, et selon les modalités de financement. La comparaison avec les retombées d'un investissement physique met en valeur les avantages de l'investissement immatériel. [eng] The macroeconomic benefits of research and development : the example of the electric and electronics industries - The PROPAGE model has permitted the study of the consequences of a supplementary capital investment, according to the branch where it was made. Thanks to the results presented in the same edition, this mode of analysis can be extended to the case of an investment in research and development. The branch « professional electrical and electronic equipment » was chosen. Indeed, it is one of the branches where technology is evolving the most rapidly. Investment in grey matter, at the end of a certain period, brings about growth in productivity. Several simulations are presented according to whether or not new prospects are created and according to modes of financing. The comparison with the spin-offs of a physical investment highlight the advantages of non-material investment. [spa] Los beneflcios macroeconómicos de la investigación y desarrollo el caso de las industrias eléctricas y electrónicas - El modelo PROPAGE permitió estudiar las consecuencias de una inversion suplementaria en capital según rama en la cual se efectuó. Gracias a los resultados presentados en este mismo número, este modo de análisis puede extenderse al caso de una inversion por investigación y desarrollo. La rama « material electrico y electrónico profesional » fué seleccionada. Es, en efecto, una de las en las cuales la tecnologéia evoluciona con mayor rapidez. Investir en sustancia gris permite a plazo acrecentar la productividad. Varias simulaciones estan presentadas segéun si esta investigaciéon créa o no nuevas salidas y según modos de financiación. La comparación con las consecuencias de una inversion fisica hace resaltar las ventajas de la inversion inmaterial.
