Abstract: [fre] Pour les industries agricoles et alimentaires l'année 1984 a été excellente pour le commerce extérieur, dont l'excédent est proche de celui de 1981; excellente aussi pour l'investissement, qui a retrouvé son niveau d'avant 1974. Elle a été bonne pour la production qui s'est accrue, alors qu'elle avait baissé en 1983. Enfin l'emploi n'a pas diminué et la productivité se maintient. [eng] 1984 : a good year for the farming and food production industries - For the farming and food production industries, the year 1984 was excellent where foreign trade was concerned. The surplus was close to that of 1981. It was also excellent with respect to investment which regained its pre-1974 level. It was good for production which grew, while it had dropped in 1983. Last, employment did not drop and productivity remained steady. Se verificó igualmente bueno con relación a producción, la que se incrementó cuando mermó en 1983. Finalmente, el empleo no decayó y la productividad se fué manteniendo.
