Abstract: [fre] A partir de la fin de la deuxième guerre mondiale, trente années de croissance économique ont transformé la société française. De rurale qu'elle était, la France est devenue un pays de citadins aux racines paysannes encore proches. Avec la crise, les solidarités familiales et locales reprennent de la vigueur. L'héridité sociale demeure forte : les pères transmettent aux fils leur catégorie sociale, et l'on continue de se marier dans son milieu. Appartenance sociale et enracinement local imprègnent les modes de vie quotidiens : manières de consommer, de s'habiller, de voisiner... [eng] Social Data 1987 - The French in front of the crisis - Starting at the end of the Second World War, thirty years of sustained economic growth have transformed the French society. From being country people the French are now mostly city-dwellers with however their peasant roots not yet forgotten. With the crisis, family and local solidarity has taken on a new vigor. Social heredity remains strong : sons inherit the social classes of their fathers and people still marry in the same milieu. Social status and locality impress upon daily ways of life : consomption patterns, clothes, neighbourghood relationships. [spa] Données sociales 1987. Los Franceses frente a la crisis - A partir del fin de la 2a guerra mundial, los treinta anos de crecimiento económico que siguieron, transformaron la sociedad francesa. De país rural que era, Francia pasó a ser un país de habitantes urbanos con raices campesinas aún muy próximas. Con la crisis, la solidaridad familiar y local vuelve a tomar vigor. La herencia social sigue siendo importante : los padres transmiten a los hijos su categoria social y la gente continua escogiendo al cónyuge en su mismo medio social. Pertenencia social y arraigo local impregnan los modos de vida cotidianos; esto puede constatarse en la manera de consumir, en la de vestirse, en el trato con los vecinos, etc.
