Abstract: [spa] Ventas y empleo de las pequenas empresas industriales perennes . Desde el principio de los anos ochenta, las pequenas empresas ocupan un espacio cada vez mayor en la industria. Entre 1 988 y 1 991 , cuando no se ven obligadas . al cese, las pequenas empresas industriales manifiestan cierto dinamismo, tanto en materia de ventas como en materia de contrataciôn de personal. . Esta vitalidad se debe ante todo a las unidades recientes animadas por unos empresarios que desean desarrollar su negocio y no solamente ejercer un oficio. Esta minoria, especialmente activa, de pequenas empresas, ha impulsado un crecimiento que generaba empleo. Incluso se arriesgan todavia a contratar personal aunque estén disminuyendo sus ventas. [eng] Sales Figures and Employment in Small, Long-Established Industrial Companies . Industry has seen a rise in the share of small companies since the beginning of the 1980s. From 1988 to 1991, when they were not being forced into bankruptcy, small industrial companies were buoyant from the point of view of both sales and recruitment. . This buoyancy was due mainly to young units managed by businessmen wanting to develop a business rather than just ply a trade. This particularly active minority of small companies has therefore generated substantial growth in employment. [ger] Absatz und Beschâftigung der kleinen angestammten Industrieunternehmen . Seit Anfang der achtziger Jahre nehmen die Kleinbetriebe einen immergrôBeren Platz in der Industrie ein. Sofern sie nicht zur Geschâftsaufgabe gezwungen waren, sind die kleinen Industrieunternehmen zwischen 1988 und 1991 sowohl beim Verkauf ihrer Produkte als auch bei der Einstellung von Beschàftigten ùberaus dynamisch. . Zurûckzufùhren ist dièse Vitalitât hauptsâchlich auf die noch nicht lange bestehenden Einheiten, die von Unternehmem geleitet werden, die ein Geschâft aufbauen und nicht nur einen Beruf ausûben wollen. Dièse besonders aktive Minderheit von Kleinbetrieben hat somit zahlreiche Arbeitsplâtze zu schaffen vermocht. Sie sind sogar zu weiteren Einstellungen bereit, obwohl ihr Absatz rûcklâufig ist.
