Abstract: [spa] Implantaciôn en el extranjero de las PYMEs . Las PYMEs no se escaparon del amplio movimiento de internacionalizaciôn que conocieron las empresas francesas desde mediados de los ochenta. Aunque siga limitada su importancia en lo que toca a implantaciôn en el extranjero, son unas 1400 las que ya invirtieron fuera del territorio nacional, ante todo en la Union Europea, con el fin de hallar nuevas salidas, y en Africa, para tratar de reducir los costos de personal. . Ya internacionalizadas por sus inversiones, dichas PYMEs también lo son por sus intercambios : en su mayor parte son exportadoras, y cuando importan, en especial en el caso de producciones delocalizadas, su contribuciôn para el comercio exterior francés es al fin y al cabo positiva. Poco afectadas por la mundializaciôn, las PYMEs se implantan allî donde pueden reforzar su posiciôn comercial. [ger] Auch kleine und mittlere Unternehmen lassen sich im Ausland nieder . Die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen sind der umfassenden Intemationalisierungsbewegung, die die franzôsischen Unternehmen seit Mitte der achtziger Jahre kennen, nicht entgangen. Wenn auch ihr Gewicht bei der Ansiedlung im Ausland im Vergleich zu den multina tionalen Konzernen bescheiden ist, haben dennoch ca. 1.400 kleine und mittlere Unternehmen auBerhalb Frankreichs investiert, und zwar hauptsâchlich in der Europâischen Union, um dort neue Absatzmârkte zu erschlieBen, sowie in Afrika, insbesondere um ihre Lohnkosten zu senken. . Dièse kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen haben sich nicht nur aufgrund ihrer Investitionen, sondern ebenfalls durch ihren Handel intemationalisiert, da die meisten von ihnen auch exportieren; und trotz ihrer Einfuhren, insbesondere im Rahmen der Produktionsverlagerung, ist ihr Beitrag zum AuBenhandel Frankreichs insgesamt positiv. Die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen, die von der Globalisierung nur wenig betroffen sind, siedeln sich dort an, wo sie ihre Handelsposition stârken kônnen. Même si leur poids dans l'implantation à l'étranger demeure réduit comparé à celui des groupes multinationaux, elles sont environ 1 400 à avoir investi hors de l'hexagone, principalement dans l'Union européenne pour y trouver de nouveaux débouchés, et en Afrique, notamment pour réduire leurs coûts salariaux. . Internationalisées par leurs investissements, ces PME le sont également par leurs échanges : la plupart d'entre elles sont exportatrices, et si elles importent, en particulier dans le cadre de délocalisations de production, leur contribution au commerce extérieur de la France est, au total, positive. Peu concernées par la mondialisation, les PME s'implantent là où elles peuvent renforcer leur position commerciale. [eng] Opening Branches Abroad: SMEs Join In . SMEs are no exception to the vast movement to internationalize French companies since the mid-1980s. Although their weight in overseas branches is still small compared with multinational groups, some 1,400 SMEs have now set up offices outside France. These branches have been established mainly in the European Union in a quest for new markets and in Africa, essentially to reduce payroll costs. . These SMEs are not only becoming global in their investments, but are also internationalizing their trade. Most of them export and, although they import, particularly when production is offshore, they make a positive overall contribution to France's foreign trade. As they are relatively detached from globalization, SMEs set up in places where they can strengthen their market position.
