Abstract: [fre] Résumé La Bibliographie annuelle de l'Histoire de France est une photographie de la recherche sur l'histoire de notre pays. Dans le volume 1984 sont recensés 6 825 historiens : 5 624 français (2 596 « professionnels » et 3 028 « non professionnels ») et 1 201 étrangers. 18% d'entre eux se consacrent au Moyen Âge, 34,1% à la période moderne et 47,4% à l'époque contemporaine. L'histoire politique se place au er rang (26,85%), suivie par l'histoire religieuse (12,98%), l'art (12,64%), l'histoire sociale (10,47%) et économique (9,62%)... [eng] Abstract The Bibliographie annuelle de l'Histoire de France is a photography of French historical research. 6,825 historians are counted in the 1984 volume : 5,624 are French (2,596 « professionals » and 3,028 « non professionals ») and 1,201 are foreigners. 18,5% of them work about the Middle Ages, 34,1% about modern history and 47,4% about contemporary history. At the first place, we find political history (26,85%), followed by religious history (12.98%), art (12,64%), social (10,47%) and economic (9,62%) history.
