Abstract: [fre] Résumé Au fur et à mesure que l'espoir de «bonnes élections» disparaît et surtout après le Ralliement, se forment des groupes recrutés dans la génération du jeune duc d'Orléans, bientôt fédérés dans une Jeunesse Royaliste qui, fidèle à la tradition sociale du legitimisme mais s'opposant aux prudences électoralistes de la plupart des parlementaires, veut tirer parti de l'effervescence nationaliste et antisémite lors de cette fin du XIXe siècle ; elle sera d'ailleurs la première victime de la «défense républicaine» et, après les procès de la Haute-Cour, devra rentrer dans le rang. Cependant l'Action Française prendra le relais de cette Jeunesse royaliste, adoptera ses slogans, ses méthodes, et restera durablement marquée par son état d'esprit, mais cette fois-ci, bénéficiant d'une équipe prestigieuse dominée par Charles Maurras, elle se rendra maîtresse du mouvement royaliste qui, jusque là assez devra se plier à une sorte de dictature intellectuelle. [eng] Abstract At the hope of «good elections» gradually vanishes and particularly after the Rallying, groups appear, recruited from the generation of the young Duke of Orleans, soon federated in a young royalist movement which, true to the social tradition of legitimism but against the not catching cautiousness of most members of Parliament, wants to take advantage of the nationalist and anti-semitic effervescence ; at the time of this end of the 19th century ; besides it will be the first victim of the «republican defence» and, after the trials of the High Court, will be compelled to fall back into line. However, the «Action Française» will take over from the royalist youth, adopt its slogans, its methods and remains a long time marked by their state of mind, but this time, with advantage of a prestigious team dominated by Charles Maurras, it will bring under control the royalist movement which, until then rather changing, will have to submit to a kind of intellectual dictatorship.
