Les associations agraires et industrielles en Italie entre la fin du XIXe siècle et le début du XXe siècle

Abstract: [fre] Résumé Au cours des dernières années l'historiographie italienne s'est intéressée tout particulièrement aux groupes patronaux et aux groupes d'entrepreneurs dont la formation remonte à la courte période comprise entre la fin du XIXe et le début du XXe siècle. Ces groupes se sont organisés et, aux côtés des organisations depuis longtemps étudiées et mieux connues des travailleurs, ils ont créé un nouveau pattern of institutions qui existe, aujourd'hui encore, dans ses lignes principales. Bien que manifestes, les différences entre les associations des agriculteurs et celles des industriels n'étaient que formelles et n'affectaient pas l'idéologie. Les convergences de fond entre la culture associative des uns et celle des autres restaient nombreuses et l'imaginaire social dans lequel les deux groupes agissaient était le même. Les liens que la culture patronale et bourgeoise postunitaire avait avec la culture économique européenne, étaient étroits. [eng] Abstract In the latest years there has been in the field of Italian historiography a particular interest in bourgeois and entrepreneurial groups whose formation dates back to the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th. It is just in that period that they formally organized and, together with the better known workers' organizations, founded a new pattern of institutions whose main features are still found at the present time. The differences between agricultural associations and industrial ones, even if manifest, were only formal and did not affect the ideological aspect. There were still many substantial convergences in their associative cultures and the social imaginary in which both parties acted was the same. There was also a close connection between the postunitary middle-class culture and the European economic culture.
