Testaments du corps et crise hispanique

Abstract: [eng] Abstract Body testaments constitute, in hispanic world, a complete literary type based on an imaginary dismembring of the body of a dying person. From ancient origin, latin probably, body testaments were known and diffused with some success in many regions of the Iberic peninsula, up to the XIX century. The body testament type was used in small plays, in songs, children's games and even in political pamphlets. During dramatic periods of a country history, this type could appear to express, through a body dismembring, the confusion of a nation which lost references and values. This article develops the Spanish crisis in 1808 and the Napoleonian invasion by analysing little known Spanish pamphlets called the « Napoleon's testaments » which undoubtly are body testaments. [fre] Résumé Les testaments du corps constituent dans le monde hispanique, un genre littéraire à part entière, reposant sur le démembrement fictif du corps d'un mourant. De tradition ancienne, probablement latine, les testaments du corps ont connu jusqu'au XIXe siècle un succès certain dans de nombreuses régions de la péninsule ibérique. Saynettes, comptines, jeux d'enfants et même pamphlets politiques empruntèrent la forme testamentaire. Les périodes tragiques de l'histoire virent parfois resurgir ce genre ancien. Le démembrement du corps contribua alors à mettre en scène le désarroi de tout un peuple qui avait perdu repères et valeurs. Cet article présente la crise hispanique de 1808 et l'invasion napoléonienne à travers des pamphlets espagnols méconnus et qui ne sont autres que des testaments du corps appelés, « Testaments de Napoléon ». L'étude de ces pièces constitue l'objet de ce travail.
