Abstract: [fre] Résumé Les rentes sur l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris n'ont, jusqu'ici, fait l'objet que de recherches timides et partielles. Pourtant, ces emprunts constituèrent toujours, du moins à partir de la seconde moitié du XVIIe siècle, une part considérable du volume des deniers extraordinaires de l'État. En définissant la place des rentes sur l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris au sein des finances publiques, et plus précisément au sein du crédit public sous le règne de Louis XIV, et en décrivant leurs spécificités structurelles, cet article a pour ambition de faire apparaître leur rôle essentiel dans les institutions financières d'Ancien Régime. [eng] Abstract Until now, the annuities from the Hôtel de Ville de Paris have been the subject of only incomplete and timid research. However, these government loans formed a considerable amount of the volume of extraordinary state deniers, at least from the second half of the 17th Century onwards. In establishing the market for the annuities from the Hôtel de Ville at the center of public finances, and more precisely at the heart of state credit during of Louis XIV, as well as detailing their structural particularities, this article aims to reveal the essential role played by financial institutions during the Ancien Régime.
