Les villas de la Marche de Trévise dans la première moitié du XVIe siècle. Un problème de classification

Abstract: [fre] Résumé L'utilisation de Yestimo de 1542 permet de renouveler l'étude des villas de la Marche de Trévise. Au XVIe siècle, la villa ne correspond pas à un type de construction nettement défini. Il s'agit de croiser les types d'analyses. Certes, les maisons dites «da stazio» semblent répondre aux critères généralement retenus mais il faut aussi rapprocher les facteurs pour aboutir à des groupes présentant une réelle homogénéité. D'un point de vue social, la prédominance vénitienne est forte alors que nobles et habitants de Trévise sont plutôt absents par rapport notamment aux centres urbains mineurs comme Castelfranco. Il n'existe pas de lien clair entre présence d'une villa et conditions d'exploitation. [eng] Abstract The estimo of 1542 provides the opportunity to reopen the study of the villas of the Trevisian Marca. During the sixteenth century, a villa doesn 't correspond to a specific type of construction. For a better understanding of the subject, it is necessary to compare different approaches. Apparently, the houses « da stazio » have all the characteristics of a villa but by looking more closely at the variations, it is possible to delineate groups with a real homogeneity. Among the villa owners, there is a majority of Venetians. Aristocrats or citizens of Trevise are less important than people of minor urban centers such as Castelfranco. There is no evident relation between the presence of a villa and farming conditions.
