Abstract: [eng] Abstract Even in Port-Royal, it is difficult to avoid craving for glory. Exposing groundless glory and fake humility, the people of Port-Royal advocated glory as the defence of truth, leadind them to clash with the king's. [fre] Résumé La gloire est une passion à laquelle il est bien difficile d'échapper, fût-on à Port-Royal. Dénonçant la vaine gloire et plus encore la fausse humilité, les gens de Port-Royal élaborèrent une gloire liée à la défense de la vérité qui les conduisit à entrer en conflit avec celle du roi.
