Abstract: [fre] Jean-Pascal Simonin - Existe-t-il un indice optimal de mobilité des structures industrielles?. Après avoir défini les propriétés d'un indice optimal de mobilité industrielle cet article montre qu'aucun des indices existants ne satisfait ces propriétés. Cependant il ressort de l'analyse de ces indicateurs que les mesures fondées sur 1' instabilité des parts de marché doivent être utilisés de préférence à celles qui sont fondées sur les changements de rangs des entreprises. Tous ces indices sont appliqués au marché des automobile neuves en France de 1966 à 1975. [eng] Jean-Pascal Simonin - Is there an optimum mobility index of industrial structures?. After describing the peculiar qualities of an optimum index of industrial mobibility, this article is intended to show that none of the existing indexes suits those peculiar qualities. Yet, from the analysis of those indicators, it is obvious that the measures based on market shares instability must be used in preference to those based on the changes in the firm ranks. All these indexes are applied to the sales of new cars in France from 1966 to 1975.
