Abstract: [fre] Cet article propose de rendre compte du comportement des entreprises sur la base d'une analyse des conditions de mise en valeur de leur capital : structure et évolution de la demande, conditions de production, parts du marché et sphères de concurrence. Telle est l'hypothèse testée sur un champ limité couvrant l'industrie de la transformation des matières plastiques dans la branche automobile.. Parmi d'autres résultats, cette étude propose une typologie des firmes concurrentes confirmant ainsi le lien entre conditions de mise en valeur, stratégie de développement, « performances économiques » et gestion de la main-d'œuvre. [eng] The purpose of this article is to illustrate the behaviour of business firms, based on an analysis of the conditions of valorisation of their capital : structure and evolution of the demand, production, condition, shares of the market and competition spheres.. Such is hypothesis, tested on a limited field comprising the processing of plastics in the automotive industry.. Among other findings, this study suggests a typology of competing firms, thus confirming the link(s) between conditions of development, growth strategies, economie performances and labour management.
