Abstract: [fre] Cet article présente les conditions pour l'interchangeabilité des mesures de taille d'entreprise et analyse les possibilités d'interchanger les principales mesures de taille d'entreprise fréquemment utilisées dans les études empiriques canadiennes et françaises en économie industrielle. [eng] This paper critically addresses the problem of the measurement of Canadian and French firms size in order to help researchers and policy makers in selecting appropriate size measures suitable for their purposes. It conducts statistical tests of the conditions for interchangeability among alternative measures of firm size in Canada and France.
