Abstract: [eng] Insufficient investments in France, after the 1st oil shock, have led to the weakness of supply, affecting both exports and growth. The necessary revival of investments raises however short term problems, as is shown by the simulations made with an econometric model of the French economy (the PROTEE model).. The stimulation of investments increases capital accumulation and supply, but is deteriorating, in the short run, the trade balance. This is improving only in the long run. Thus accompanying measures haven to be taken aiming at reducing domestic demand in the short run. [fre] L'insuffisance des investissements productifs en France après le 1er choc pétrolier a conduit à une faiblesse de l'offre qui pèse sur les possibilités d'exportation et sur la croissance. Une relance de l'investissement productif serait nécessaire mais elle pose des problèmes à court terme comme le montrent les simulations effectuées avec un modèle économétrique de l'économie française (le modèle PROTEE),. Une stimulation de l'investissement accroît certes l'accumulation du capital et augmente donc l'offre, mais détériore à court terme la balance commerciale.. Ce n'est qu'à long terme qu'elle entraîne une amélioration de la balance commerciale, d'où l'intérêt de mesures d'accompagnement qui viendraient réduire à court terme la demande intérieure.
