Abstract: [fre] L'évolution de la productivité a suscité, aux États-Unis, des écrits multiples. Ce texte tente d'en présenter un bilan. Il montre tout d'abord la fragilité et les limites des résultats obtenus par les méthodes standards de la macroéconomie quantitative. Sont abordés ensuite un ensemble de travaux axés sur l'évolution de la production et de l'entreprise. Ces travaux sont moins formalisés et cohérents que les précédents, mais ils permettent de mieux comprendre les questions sous-jacentes à la crise de productivité : conflits industriels, crise technologique et problèmes d'organisation de la production, structures et modes de gestion de la grande entreprise. [eng] The decline of productivity growth has been in the United States the subjects of many works. This paper tries to present an evaluation of the writings in the fields. We first show the limits of standard methods of quantitative macroeconomics. We consider then a set of works focusing on the evolution of productions methods and firms. These works are less formalised and coherent than the previous ones, but they help for a better understanding of the questions underlying the productivity crisis : industrial conflics, technological crisis and manufacturing problems, structures and management methods of the corporation.
