Abstract: [fre] Cet article propose une analyse de la demande de services de conseil par les grandes entreprises, et plus particulièrement des différents modes de gestion du recours à de tels services. Une large enquête par entretiens y fait l'objet d'interprétations faisant jouer à la structure de l'entreprise un rôle explicatif très important. Une typologie des formes d'organisation y est utilisée, empruntant aux travaux de H. Mintzberg. On montre ensuite comment les diverses modalités de gestion du besoin de connaissance et d'expertise (services de conseil) correspondent aux grands types d'organisation et notamment aux principales variantes de la structure divisionnalisée. [eng] This paper aims at analysing the demand for consultancy services from large corporations and especially the different modes of management of such recourses. A large survey, based on interviews with top management, is interpreted. The types of firm's structures, partly derived from Mintzberg's typology, play an essential explanatory role. It appears that the various ways of managing the needs for knowledge and professional expertise (consultancy functions) are closely related to the type of organization and notably to the main variants of the divisionalised structure.
