Abstract: [fre] Cet article analyse le processus d'apprentissage de la firme J, en liaison avec la coordination horizontale, en considérant successivement les ateliers (et les travailleurs), les relations entre ateliers et, enfin, la compatibilité de ces actions décentralisées avec les objectifs de l'organisation. Les difficultés et les problèmes théoriques sont mis en évidence, de même que sont analysées les contraintes de viabilité qui pèsent sur le processus d'apprentissage. [eng] The purpose of this paper is to analyze the learning process of the J firm related to horizontal coordination, taking successively into account the shops (and the workers), the links between the shops and, lastly, the consistency of these decentralized operations with the goals of organization. The difficulties and the theoretical problems are emphasized along with the viability constraints on the learning process.
