Abstract: [fre] Depuis le début des années 90, sous l'impulsion des sociétés de marchés et de certaines universités, se sont mises progressivement en place aux ÉtatsUnis, des formations spécialisées à la déontologie financière. Plusieurs raisons ont guidé ces choix, parmi lesquelles figure la nécessité d'éviter que les autorités fédérales n'accentuent la réglementation en matière de contrôle des activités de marchés ; le renforcement du contrôle disciplinaire par les organisations professionnelles allant également dans ce sens. Après avoir présenté plus précisément l'ensemble des raisons qui ont motivé de telles initiatives, nous nous proposerons dans la seconde partie de cet article, de décrire les spécificités et l'originalité de ces formations à l'éthique financière. [eng] Why and how «financial ethics» training is becoming popular in the united states today ? . From the beginning of the 90's, fostered by financial institutions and some universities, training in financial code of ethics has started to gain ground in the United States. Many reasons have contributed to this ; among them, the need to avoid the increase in capital market regulations by the federal authorities, as well as the strengthening of disciplinary control by professional organisations. After having presented in detail all the reasons that have motivated these initiatives, we are going to describe the originality and the specific characteristics of financial ethic training on the second part of this article.
