Abstract: [fre] La question de la tarification des services bancaires constitue un sujet de débat, voire de controverse depuis de nombreuses années. On notera cependant que ce débat traite soit de la tarification des services bancaires destinés aux seuls particuliers, soit du dilemme «rémunération des dépôts à vue» versus «tarification», ou plutôt, «facturation des services bancaires, et notamment des chèques bancaires». La question de la tarification des services bancaires devrait se trouver relancée très prochainement, avec l’UEM comme catalyseur, puisque, à l’initiative des pouvoirs publics, un groupe de travail devrait être constitué entre les membres de la profession bancaire et les «usagers». Cet article ne traitera pas du débat «grand public» sur cette question d’actualité, mais se propose d’examiner la question de la rémunération et la tarification des prestations offertes par les banques d’affaires. [eng] Remuneration of the services, the invoicing . Questions relative to the invoicing of banking services have been constituting a important subject of debates for a long time. However, one can note that these debates generally deal with invoicing of banking services offered to the public and with the dilemma «remuneration of current accounts» versus «invoicing of banking services (i.e. bank cheque)». This question relating to the invoicing of the banking services should know some developments during the next months with the forecasted development of the EMU as a catalyst, since, on public authorities’ initiative, a working group including «the public» and the members of the banking profession is about to be constituted. This paper is not concerned by the «public» side of the debate. It proposes to examine questions regarding remuneration and invoicing of services supplied by investment banks.
