Abstract: [fre] Cet article revient sur certaines spécificités allemandes concernant la localisation des activités financières. Le succès de la bourse de Francfort, en partie imprévisible, n’a pas levé certains freins à la globalisation des activités financières, malgré la volonté d’internationalisation de la bourse allemande. Une des forces de la Place de Francfort est d’avoir vu très tôt la nécessité d’alliances, même si les résultats n’ont pas été à la hauteur des ambitions. . Classification JEL : R38 [eng] Financial activities localisation in Germany . This article deals with german specifities when it comes to the location of financial activities. The Francfort center realized early that it had to merge with other markets in Europe, even if some local specificities made this goal difficult to achieve. . JEL Classification : R38
