La « governance » des systèmes bancaires mutualistes et coopératifs en Europe

Abstract: [fre] Les éléments particuliers de la governance coopérative ont été largement identifiés, débattus et réinterprétés à partir du cadre conceptuel de la théorie des contrats et de l’information. Le présent travail, qui se limite à examiner le phénomène de la coopération dans le domaine bancaire, a un double objectif : il vise, d’une part, à définir le cadre théorique général de la governance des groupes et des réseaux bancaires coopératifs et, d’autre part, à repérer quelques modèles de governance majeurs à travers une identification des équilibres institutionnels et organisationnels auxquels les banques coopératives sont parvenues, suite à un processus d’intégration graduel, tant vertical qu’horizontal. Ce processus a caractérisé la récente évolution des systèmes de crédits et des systèmes financiers dans la majeure partie des pays occidentaux. . The particular elements of the cooperative governance were widely identified, discussed and reinterpreted from the theory of contracts and information. The present work, which limits to examine the phenomenon of the cooperation in the banking sector, has a double objective : it aims, on one hand, at defining the general theoretical frame of the governance of the groups and the cooperative bank networks and, on the other hand, at tracking down some models of governance through an identification of the institutional and organisational balances which the cooperative banks reached, further to a gradual process of integration, so vertical as horizontal. This process characterised the recent evolution of the systems of credits and the financial systems in the major part of Western countries. . JEL classifications : G21, G3, L2
