Abstract: [fre] Les liens entre inflation mondiale et dollar sont analysés à partir des politiques monétaires et de l'évolution des matières premières, Sur le premier point, les auteurs concluent que la politique monétaire américaine ne peut être tenue pour directement responsable de la corrélation observée des inflations au niveau mondial qui résulte plutôt des différentes politiques monétaires. Par contre, étant la principale monnaie de facturation et de réserve, le dollar a pu, du fait de politiques accommodantes, favoriser la forte hausse du prix des matières premières enregistrée ces dernières années. . The relations between the world inflation and the dollar are analysed through the monetary policies and the price variations of the raw materials. According to the authors, the American monetary policy is not directly responsible for the correlation of the worldwide inflation. These correlations result rather from the effects of different monetary policies in different areas. On the other hand, being the main reserve and trade currency, the dollar may have furthered the strong rise of the price of the raw materials during these last years. .
