Abstract: [fre] Quelles sont les mesures à prendre pour que la tempête financière qui a secoué la planète en 2008 ne se reproduise pas ? Pour répondre à cette question, l’auteur tente de prendre du recul par rapport à la confusion ambiante. Après avoir constaté qu’au cours des quinze dernières années, on a assisté à une financiarisation de l’activité bancaire, il préconise que les banques opèrent une re-bancarisation de leurs activités financières. Ceci, conjointement aux renforcements des réglementations, devrait permettre au modèle de la banque universelle d’apparaître comme la solution pérenne pour le système financier de demain. [eng] After the crisis : first, let’s get things clear . What is to be done so that the financial crisis that shook the world in 2008 does not reappear ? To answer this question the author tries to get out from the present confusion. Having noticed that for more than fifteen years the banking activity has been more and more subject to financiarisation, he states that now is the time that banks should apply the traditional banking rules to their financial activities. Along with the on-going changes of the regulatory rules, this would make the model of the universal bank a good answer to the future of the financial system. . Classification JEL : G21, G24.
