Governance of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Economic Nationalism

Abstract:
[eng] In this article, we raise questions concerning the behavior of sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), as well as to what extent their goals might differ from most of purely private agents. We adopt a resolutely positive perspective : rather than prescribe an « optimal » strategy for these funds, we instead wonder what strategy they will adopt. As we shall see, that depends on the hypotheses made on their nature. . JEL Classification : F30, F52, G34
