Abstract: [fre] L'appropriation des rentes d'innovation dans les exploitations agricoles dynamiques est éphémère. Pour bénéficier durablement des avantages liés à l'adoption des progrès techniques, ces agriculteurs doivent participer à des réseaux d'entreprises dans lesquels la recherche de produits nouveaux et celle de nouvelles méthodes d'organisation sont fortement liées. C'est le «modèle californien» d'agriculture. Celui-ci ne peut être copié sans précautions en France, tout dépend des conditions liant l'emploi et le capital. [eng] The farmers', benefit of innovation rents is transitory. In order to extend, the advantages attached to the adoption of new technical progress, these farmers , should join firms where the development of new products and that of new organization methods is closely related.' This is the « Californian model » of agriculture, which however can not be unconditionally copied in France; all depends on, the relationship between labour and capital.
