74, issue 1, 45-54

Abstract: [eng] Since the beginning of the century, the innovations in this jield have progressively led to intensive animal breeding. The modernization — rational feeding, selective breeding, animal protection and industrial organization of work — as it increases the efficiency, brings about deep structural changes: an increased supply may unbalance the market.
