Abstract: [eng] This activity, new to France, studies complete production systems both for farm supplying and food processing industries. The author examines the possibilities offered by this activity and its impact on the competitive position of French firms. [fre] Cette activité nouvelle en France procède à l'étude des systèmes complets de production, tant en amont qu'en aval de la production agricole. L'auteur expose les possibilités ainsi offertes, et l'effet de l'engineering sur la position concurrentielle d'entreprises françaises.
