Abstract: [fre] Cet article expose les résultats d'une recherche visant à identifier les facteurs responsables de la variation des emblavements de céréales, exprimés en pour cent de la superficie agricole utile, selon les diverses régions de la Communauté Economique Européenne. Les trois facteurs suivants expliquent la plus grande part de cette variation : 1 - la fraction que représente la terre arable dans la superficie agricole utile ; 2 - la dimension de l'exploitation ; 3 - le rendement comparé des céréales et des activités compétitives. [eng] The factors responsible of the variation of the relative average devoted to the cereals in the regions of the European Economic Community - This paper summarizes the results of a research whih aim to identify the factors responsible of the variation of the relative average devoted to the cereals in the regions of the European Economic Community. The three factors hereafter explain the greatest part of this variation : 1 - the ration of the arable land to the agricultural land ; 2 - the farm size ; 3 - the yield of the cereal compared to the competitive activities.
