Abstract: [eng] Orientation and reorganization decisions concerning the way of life of farmers leaving farming seen against their original "communal" background - The type of response made by a community like that of farmers leaving farming, to constraints and social and economic needs that impose change, tends towards the main component factors of an essentially farming tradition remaining. The two-fold process of differentiation and adjustment in the move from farming to non-farming is studied through an analysis of the decisions concerning the orientation and reorganization of the way of life and of the values of farmers leaving farming in the original communal hackground. [fre] Le type de réponse que donne une communauté comme celle des agriculteurs mutant, à des contraintes et à des besoins économiques et sociaux qui imposent un changement, tend à la perpétuation des composantes essentielles d'une tradition à . dominante agricole. . Le double processus de différenciation et d'ajustement dans le passage de l'agricole au non-agricole est étudié à travers l'analyse des décisions d'orientation et de la réorganisation du système de vie et de valeurs des agriculteurs mutant dans le contexte communal d'origine.
