Abstract: [eng] The socio-economic effects of technical progress on farms in Senegal - An attempt has been made to test the technical proposals for intensification made by tropical agricultural research to illustrate their efficiency. The process of experimental development implemented since 1969 in two ground-nut cooperatives in Senegal has provided much information about socio-economic dynamics in rural areas. [fre] La recherche agronomique tropicale a entrepris de tester ses propositions techniques d'intensification dans le milieu pour en démontrer l'efficacité. Le processus de développement expérimental mis en œuvre depuis 1969 au niveau de deux coopératives arachidières du Sénégal est riche d'enseignement sur la dynamique socio-économique du milieu rural.
