Abstract: [fre] L'auteur s'est proposé d'étudier les effets de l'intensification de la production laitière sur le revenu des exploitations et des familles agricoles. L'étude a porté sur l'échantillon des exploitations du RICA ayant en 1978 l'OTE Bovin-Lait et 20 à 50 hectares de superficie ; l'échantillon a été partagé en groupes, selon le degré d'intensification des exploitations, repéré par le chargement et le rendement laitier. Les résultats montrent notamment que l'intensification de la production élève le revenu des exploitations et le niveau de vie des familles agricoles dont les prélèvements familiaux sont un indicateur, et ce malgré un accroissement des charges liées à l'accumulation de moyens de production qui accompagne le processus d'intensification. [eng] The aim of this paper is to study the effects of the intensification of dairy production on the income of the farms and farmers. For this study, the dairy farms sampled in 1 978 by the French RICA (A ccounting Network of the EEC) which ha ve between 20 and 50 hectares, have been divided into groups according to indicators of intensification (number of dairy cows per hectare milk yield). This paper particularly shows that the intensification of the production increases the farms' income and the farmers' standart of living of which the household expenditures are an indicator and this happens in spite of increased charges induced by the accumulation of means of production, linked to the process of intensification.
