Abstract: [fre] Après mai 1968, le marxisme redevient une théorie vivante et les thèses (très théoriques) éclosent et polémiquent entre elles à propos de «la question agraire «.Avec mai 1981, la théorie passe au second plan, au profit de la gestion. Les quinze ans qui séparent ces deux dates ont vu se succéder de nombreuses thèses abstraites et monocausales : théorie de la petite production marchande, de la prolétarisation des agriculteurs. . Une synthèse théorique est-elle possible pour définir des rapports de production en agriculture ? Peut-être en partant du fonctionnement des marchés (foncier, marchés d'amont et d'aval, rôle des monopoles, de l'Etat, de la coopération, des excédents,...) des substitutions de production. . Au delà des aspects théoriques, les marxistes ont produit une multitude d'études historiques concrètes, ils ont analysé les hétérogénéités internes à l'agriculture, les échanges internationaux. [eng] After May 1968, there was a revival of marxism in French agricultural economics. New thesis - highly theoritical - arise and there is much discussion on the agrarian question between their advocates. After May 1981 , management gains precedence over theory. The 15 years between those two dates witnessed the successive predominance of several abstract and monocausal such as the theory of small merchant production or that of the proletarization of farmers. Is it possible to elaborate a synthetic theory, defining production relations in agriculture ? The main elements which could be used in this definition seem to be the operation of markets (including the land market, inputs and commodity markets, the role of monopolies, the State, cooperatives, surplusses) and substitutions between enterprises. In addition to their theorical contributions, marxists produced numerous historical studies, they analyzed the internal heterogeneity of agriculture and studied foreign trade.
