Abstract: [eng] Economic activity and social status of agriculturists' wives in a zone of mixed farming (the southern Gers) - The function of the women's work in agriculture is analyzed from the datas of an inquiry. It is also shown that the status of a woman inside her family is significantly influenced by whether or not she inherited the lands. [fre] A partir d'une enquête, analyse du rôle du travail féminin dans la production agricole et mise en évidence du caractère déterminant de l'origine familiale du foncier sur le statut de la femme au sein de la famille.
