Abstract: [fre] En milieu rural, l'enjeu principal du développement réside dans l'articulation entre politiques sectorielles et logiques territoriales. Quelques exemples l'illustrent et montrent que les projets économiques, sociaux et culturels sont indissociables et concourrent au développement global. Au cœur de cette dynamique se trouve l'agent de développement local dont la formation doit être réenvisagée. [eng] In rural development, the main issue is the link between sectoral aspects and policies, on the one hand, and the logic of land use and spacial approaches on the other. This is explained by examples which show that economic, social and cultural aspects and projects are intermingled. All are needed to obtain global development. The local extension agent is at the heart of this dynamic process; his training must be reconsidered.
