Abstract: [fre] L'objectif de ce papier est de vérifier la capacité des théories traditionnelles sur l'investissement à expliquer l'évolution de l'investissement agricole au niveau macroéconomique. Les caractéristiques de la branche sont prises en compte : distinction entre travail familial et travail salarié, problème des consommations intermédiaires qui ne sont pas seulement des matières premières, facteurs fixes dans le court terme... Les résultats indiquent que la FBCF agricole est plus sensible aux variations de coûts des inputs qu'aux variations du produit. Les modèles sont finalement utilisés pour analyser les conséquences de la « crise de 1974 » sur l'investissement agricole. [eng] Econometrical study of the macroeconomic investment function in agriculture - The objective of this paper is to test the capacity of generally accepted investment theories to explain aggregate agricultural investment behaviour. The characteristics of the sector are taken into account : distinction between family labour and hired labour, problem of intermediate inputs which are not only raw materials, fixed factors in the short term... Empirical results indicate that investment levels are more affected by the costs of the inputs than by changes in agricultural output. The models are then used to analyse the consequences of the « 1974 crisis » on the agricultural investment.
