Politique d'installation et élévation du niveau de formation des agriculteurs à compter de 1992: quelques conséquences pour l'apprentissage et l'éducation des adultes

Abstract: [eng] « Getting into agriculture » policy and up-grading young farmers qualification from 1992 onwards ; some consequencies on apprenticeship and adult education . An important up-grading of the qualification required from young farmers asking for Government grants is planned from 1992 onwards. But some of them meet difficulties in getting the level which is presently required. This article first presents a quantitative measurement of the difficulties of the change of level for some future young farmers, and then some ways of finding solutions in order to allow this important qualification up-grading at the same time contributing to maintain an annual steady flow of new farmers. The effort will concern the basic education (french and mathematics), and the diversification of training frameworks. [fre] Une élévation massive de la qualification demandée aux jeunes agriculteurs quand ils sollicitent les aides de l'Etat est programmée à partir de 1992. Or, certains éprouvent déjà des difficultés pour obtenir le niveau actuellement requis. L'article présente d'abord une évaluation quantitative des difficultés du changement de niveau pour certains futurs jeunes agriculteurs et ensuite des pistes de solution afin de permettre cette élévation massive de qualification tout en contribuant à maintenir un flux annuel stable d'installations. Il s'agira de faire porter l'effort sur la formation générale (français et mathématiques), et la diversification des parcours de formation.
