Abstract: [eng] Farmers ' trade-unionism in Loire (France) : a half-century between unity and plurality . This article describes briefly one half-century of farmers ' trade-unionism in a region of France which took an important part in the national debates. Key periods are emphasized : the creation of unitary trade-unionism during the Vichy's government and the Liberation period, the trade-unionism revival in the early sixties, the growth of a new farmers ' left- wing - against the unitary trade-unionism - in the seventies and eighties and its failure to change the agricultural policy. [fre] Cet article retrace brièvement un demi-siècle de syndicalisme agricole dans un département très impliqué dans les débats nationaux : la Loire. L'accent a été mis sur quelques périodes clés : la constitution du syndicalisme unitaire sous Vichy et à la Libération, le renouveau syndical au début des années soixante, le développement d'une nouvelle gauche paysanne — en rupture avec le syndicalisme unitaire — dans les années 1970 et 1980 et son échec à transformer la politique agricole.
