Abstract: [fre] L'économie néo-institutionnelle et l'économie du développement ont renouvelé l'étude des comportements économiques des agents des pays du Tiers monde. L'idée centrale de cet article est de prendre acte des avancées de ces courants pour analyser certaines formes de migration comme un contrat inter-temporel entre ces agents et différentes organisations supra-individuelles. En se renforçant dans le temps, ces contrats aboutissent ainsi à une « institutionnalisation » de la migration, qui génère ses propres règles de fonctionnement. Cette approche invite à considérer sous un angle nouveau la logique économique des processus sociaux liés aux migrations. [eng] Migration institutional approach in LDC's . The new development and institutional economics have renewed the study of economic behaviour in Third World countries. The main point of this article is to incorporate these new theoretical insights to analyse certain migration patterns as a inter-temporal contract linking actors and various local organizations in the developing world. Through a process of gradual self-reinforcement, these contracts lead to the "institutionalization" of migration which generates its own operating rules. This approach suggests to adopt a new perspective to examine the economic rationale of social processes linked to migrations.
